The Sacred Secret

Before the beginning of time

Prior to creation, before time had been defined, Jehovah formed the sacred secret, instilling it within his eternal purpose for creation. To clearly understand the sacred secret, also known as the Mystery of the kingdom of God, it is absolutely necessary to understand that Gods purpose was complete in every way before he began to create. There was nothing left to add to it, or to take away from it from the moment Jehovah started to create, it was perfect in every way. The following verse in Ecclesiastes highlights this very fact:

“. . .I have come to know that everything that the [true] God makes, it will prove to be to time indefinite. To it there is nothing to add and from it there is nothing to subtract;. . .” Ec 3:14‍

Creation exists upon a foundation, or framework of design, that was planned out perfectly by God. Two of the foundational elements within creation are time, and free will.  These two foundational elements superseded everything that would come to exist, and upon them everything would be established. Time was necessary because we needed something to live on, or within, thus the 'fabric of time' is an apt metaphor, as Jehovah created a way for us to exist upon, or within it.

The second element, free will, besides existence itself, is the greatest gift God could give to those made in his image. Free will allows us to return the love that God gives to us, back to him, because we choose to. When free will is used according to its purpose, and standard, creation and creator exist with each other in perfect union and harmony.

Although free will was the greatest gift to creation, it also had the potential to be the greatest weapon, and it was a certainty that eventually one of his sons would use their free will for bad. Sin was a certainty. The fact that it happened is proof this is true. It would be naive for us to think God hadn’t considered this when he purposed to give creation the ability to choose right or wrong, of course he did, and in doing so, he formed the solution to that potential problem before he began to create so that he could guarantee the success of his purpose. In order to foresee any potential problems, a wise builder always calculates his expense before building to make sure he can complete the job. Jehovah did the same before he began construction of his creation, so that when he began to create it was sure to succeed.

“. . .so my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that in which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it.” (Isa 55:11)

The Solution to mankinds sin

Within the scriptures, the sacred secret and the Jerusalem above are one in the same, merely different descriptions of such. The sacred secret is the name of, and the means by which, Jehovah restores creation back to perfection. It is the solution to sin which tainted his creation in heaven and earth. It is the perfect instrument, or tool, that Jehovah formed prior to creation so that when sin manifested he wouldn't need to do anything, his instrument was already prepared in advance.

The 'Jerusalem above' is the symbolic representation of the sacred secret within scripture, to help us understand what the sacred secret is.

Within scripture the sacred secret is revealed to us through the symbolism of a seed, and also of a pregnant woman who is about to give birth. Both illustrations provide insight into what, and how, the sacred secret cleanses creation of sin, and restores mankind back to perfection. Using a seed as a metaphor is the perfect illustration to help us clearly understand what the sacred secret is.

When we examine a seed, no matter what type, whether it is for a tree or plant etc...it is in the dormant stage. Only until the seed is planted and the conditions are favorable for it, does it germinate and begin to grow. The seed has a purpose for which it was designed, not only to create a tree or plant, but to provide something as well, perhaps a fruit or vegetable. Essentially, all the information required to create something is instilled within that seed, the DNA.

So too, just like a seed with DNA, instilled within the sacred secret was all the information needed to create a new heavens and a new earth, that is untainted with sin. Just as a seed lies dormant until conditions prevail, so too the sacred secret laid dormant within God prior to sin, and prior to the beginning of creation “. . .and should make men see how the sacred secret is administered which has from the indefinite past been hidden in God. . .” (Eph 3:9)

Contained within the 'dna', or the instructions of the sacred secret, was the foreordination of Jesus Christ and 144,000 chosen ones, his brothers, to come to exist as new creations. You could say, therefore, that the sacred secret is a creative generating force, designed by God to create something, just as a seed creates what it is purposed to create.

“. . .For we are a product of his work and were created in union with Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to walk in them.” (Eph 2:10)
“. . .and should make men see how the sacred secret is administered which has from the indefinite past been hidden in God, who created all things. 10 [This was] to the end that now to the governments and the authorities in the heavenly places there might be made known through the congregation the greatly diversified wisdom of God, 11 according to the eternal purpose that he formed in connection with the Christ, Jesus our Lord,” (Eph 3:9-11)
“. . .Now we know that God makes all his works cooperate together for the good of those who love God, those who are the ones called according to his purpose; 29 because those whom he gave his first recognition he also foreordained to be patterned after the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.” (Ro 8:28-29)

Eternal Purpose

As already brought out, the eternal purpose that was formed in connection with Christ(Eph 3:11) was already complete before the creation of Jehovahs only begotten son. Instilled within that purpose was Jesus Christ as the main component of the Sacred Secret. How can we know this, because through Jesus Christ everything else was created. Jesus didn't create his own purpose, Jehovah did prior to Jesus being created. This is why we know that the sacred secret must have been created prior to Jesus existence, because Jesus created all other things. Once Jehovah set creation in motion with the birth of Jesus Christ, his purpose for creation was already complete,  it was perfect, and everything was guaranteed to succeed from that moment on. Nothing could stop it, not even sin.

Just as a dormant seed needs moisture, oxygen and the right temperature to germinate, or grow, the sacred secret also needed the right condition to grow, sin. Once sin manifested into creation, the dormant seed, the Sacred Secret, germinated and began to grow. Once germinated, a seed begins to grow a root system to support its future purpose of what it will become. The bible uses the metaphor of roots to describe the genealogy of man. The roots from the sacred secred, or the seed that germinated, would become the nation of Israel, from which Jesus Christ would ascend from.

To illustrate this point the bible states that Jesus was of the “. . .root of Jes´se that will be standing up as a signal for the peoples. . .” (Isa 11:10. Thus, we can begin to more clearly see how a 'seed' is the perfect analogy for the sacred secret. Once the seed has germinated, and has grown a root system that is strong enought to support it, it sprouts. Jesus Christ is the sprout of the seed that germinated, after sin manifested, in the Garden of Eden. When Jesus Christ was born on earth through Mary, he was the sprout who would replace that which was lost, and would be the means to which a 'new heavens, and new earth' would come to exist.

“. . .for here I am bringing in my servant Sprout!” (Zec 3:8)

In the Garden of Eden stood the Tree of Life, and because mankind no longer had access to the Tree of Life, which would allow them to live to time indefinite, a new means for eternal life was required to reestablish that which was lost.

“. . .and now in order that he may not put his hand out and actually take [fruit] also from the tree of life and eat and live to time indefinite,. . .” (Ge 3:22)

Jesus Christ was that means, for everyone who feeds on him has everlasting life. (Joh 6:54) Because the 144,000 brothers of Christ were formed in union with Jesus Christ prior to creation, they were foreordained to be patterned after his image, thus to also become Trees of Life. Revelation symbolically speaks of this “. . .And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of its broad way. And on this side of the river and on that side [there were] trees of life producing twelve crops of fruit, yielding their fruits each month. And the leaves of the trees [were] for the curing of the nations.” (Re 22:1-2)

Thus Jesus Christ, and the 144,000, are also called the firstfruits (1 Cor 15:23, James 1:18). They are the firstfruits of the dormant seed that was hidden in God. It then germinated in the Garden of Eden when sin manifested, and grew roots through the nation of Israel. Once the roots were strong enough it sprouted bringing forth Jesus Christ, the new Tree of Life. Through Jesus Christ the 144,000 holy ones became patterned after him. Isaiah and Ezekial prophecy about this very thing.

“. . .In the coming [days] Jacob will take root, Israel will put forth blossoms and actually sprout; and they will simply fill the surface of the productive land with produce.” (Isa 27:6)
“And alongside the torrent there will come up, along its bank on this side and on that side, all sorts of trees for food. Their leafage will not wither, nor will their fruitage be consumed. In their months they will bear new fruit, because the water for them—it is coming forth from the very sanctuary. And their fruitage must prove to be for food and their leafage for healing.”” (Eze 47:12)

Looking at the sacred secret, through the illustrative context of a seed, helps us to see more clearly how God intended to repair his creation from sin. Next, we look at the creative generating force of the sacred secret, the spirit, which would not only allow Jehovah to remain in his sacred day of rest, but would also bring new creations into existence.

The woman seen in heaven is the symbolic representation of the sacred secret, the Jerusalem above, who gives birth to Jesus Christ when he is born again from the dead.

A Creative Generating Force

Everything that was necessary to restore gods creation back to perfection was coded within the sacred secret, it's DNA, and it was formed and foreordained to occur prior to the beginning of creation by God. It was the perfect tool created by Jehovah to guarantee the success of his eternal purpose for creation, and it also allowed him to remain at rest while the new creations came to exist.

Through the provision of the Sacred Secret, the Jerusalem above(Jesus' mother), Jesus was born again(Rev 12:5) and became a new creation.  The 144,000, who are purchased with Jesus Christ blood, are also 'new creations' that come to exist, within Jehovahs sacred day of rest, because they had already been formed within Gods purpose prior to creation as part of the solution to sin. Therefore the sacred secret is a creative generating force, created by Jehovah to bring into existence that which did not yet exist.

“. . .: “Most truly I say to you, Unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”. . .” (Joh 3:3)

To be born is to be created, and when Jesus was speaking to the Pharisee Nicodemus, Jesus explained that unless a person is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Interestingly, the Greek words for 'is born again' are gen·ne·thei´ a´no·then, which literally means 'should be generated from above'.  With this in mind we can see that the sacred secred, or the Jerusalem above, was the creative generating force that Jehovah used to bring Jesus not only back from death, but to generate him as a new creation, being born again having life within himself. The 144,000 chosen ones were also foreordained to be born again as new creations, just as Jesus Christ was.

They too are created through the provision of the sacred secret, and were formed to exist in union with Jesus Christ prior to the beginning of time.

2Ti 1:9 “He saved us and called us with a holy calling, not by reason of our works, but by reason of his own purpose and undeserved kindness. This was given us in connection with Christ Jesus before times long lasting,” [before the beginning of time, ASV]

Notice, Jesus brothers are called by reason of Gods own purpose. Because Jesus Christ is the exact image of God, he too must share that purpose. They are truly his brothers because they, and Jesus Christ, were formed together within God first, as the solution to sin prior to creation. Essentially, before anything came to exist within the stream of time that began with the creation of Jesus Christ, the sacred secret and the elements within it were formed, its DNA so to speak, to bring into existence that which did not yet exist.

“. . .Consequently if anyone is in union with Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away, look! new things have come into existence.” (2Co 5:17)

Because Jehovah is still resting within the sacred day of rest, the sacred secret is the creative force that gives birth to Jesus Christ after his death, to cause him to be born again.

“ And she gave birth to a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was caught away to God and to his throne.. . .” (Re 12:5)

The woman in chapter twelve of Revelation, is the symbolic representation of the sacred secret of God within scripture, and the birth that she gives to the male child is Jesus Christ being born again from death, or non existence, and the 144,000 subsequently after that. To be born, is to be created.

“. . .He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things;” (Col 1:18)
“. . .These things stand as a symbolic drama; for these [women] mean two covenants, the one from Mount Si´nai, which brings forth children for slavery, and which is Ha´gar. 25 Now this Ha´gar means Si´nai, a mountain in Arabia, and she corresponds with the Jerusalem today, for she is in slavery with her children. 26 But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother.” (Ga 4:24-26)

Thus Jesus is first in all things. He was formed first within God, prior to creation, to be an exact image of Jehovah the only true God. Formed within Gods purpose for Jesus was also the Sacred Secret, so that if mankind sinned, Jesus Christ would be the means of cleansing humanity from that sin. Jesus was then the first to be created, or to exist, coinciding with the beginning of time. He is also the first to be born from the dead, thus becoming the firstfruits of the seed of the woman, our mother, the Jerusalem above.

“. . .But each one in his own rank: Christ the firstfruits. . .” (1Co 15:23)
“. . .Because he willed it, he brought us forth by the word of truth, for us to be certain firstfruits of his creatures.” (Jas 1:18)

Jesus Christ is the only one who the sacred secret, the Jerusalem above', has given birth to at this point in time. All the holy ones who have died do not exist anymore within creation, however once the 1260 days begins, through the provision of the sacred secret, the anointed will be given birth from their non existence, and resurrected to also have life within themselves. The remaining seed alive on earth will then have war waged against them by Satan, who will have at that point been thrown out of heaven in great anger.

“ However, now Christ has been raised up from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death]. 21 For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man. 22 For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each one in his own rank: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ during his presence.. . .” (1Co 15:20-23)
“. . .For this is what we tell YOU by Jehovah’s word, that we the living who survive to the presence of the Lord shall in no way precede those who have fallen asleep [in death]; 16 because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first. 17 Afterward we the living who are surviving will, together with them, be caught away in clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus we shall always be with [the] Lord.. . .” (1Th 4:15-17)
“. . .And the dragon grew wrathful at the woman, and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her seed, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus.” (Re 12:17)

If we were to breakdown the main events of creation, and the sacred secret from the scriptures, it would thus look something like this:

1. God purposes within himself to create, and plans it out completely before he begins.

2. He knows that free will will eventually be used against his purpose, that the original sin is a certainty, and forms the sacred secret as the solution to the sin, thus guaranteeing the success of his purpose

3. God then begins to create, and time begins with the creation of Jesus Christ.

4. Through Jesus Christ, everything else is created.

5. God rests on the seventh day from all his creation, and has remained in that sacred day of rest ever since.

6. Sin manifests, thus the sacred secret, the solution to that sin, also manifests(germinates).

7. Jesus Christ comes to earth and proves that mankind can choose to not sin, is killed, and for three and a half days he no longer exists within creation.

8. After three and a half days, the Sacred Secret(Jerusalem above) gives birth to Jesus Christ as the firstborn from the dead.

9. Once the 1260 days begin, during Jesus presence, those who have died will be raised up, given birth as new creations, and the remaining ones of her seed will have war waged on them by Satan, for bearing witness to Jesus Christ. Those who are killed within the 1260 days do not experience non existence, but are immediately given birth as new creations, and once the two witnesses rise up after their death, just prior to the blowing of the seventh trumpet, the sacred secret is brought to a finish.

10. Through Jesus Christ, the 144,000 symbollicaly become the Trees of Life who will heal mankind from their sins and imperfections.
